RESERVATION POLICIES

• Check-in Time (Arrival): 3:00 p.m.

• Check-out Time (Departure): 12:00 p.m.

• EARLY CHECK-IN (Arrival before the established time): Subject to hotel availability.

• LATE CHECK-OUT (Departure after the established time): Requires prior request and is subject to hotel availability.

Taxes

• Rates include 19% VAT.

• Foreigners and non-resident Colombians may be exempt from VAT upon presentation of a tourism stamp or tourist visa in their passport (TP-11 or PIP-5/PTP-5) proving their non-resident status.

Payment and Cancellation Policies

• To guarantee any reservation, a 50% advance payment of the accommodation fee is required. One of our agents will contact you to provide our bank details and/or a secure payment link for card transactions.

• If bank card details were provided during the online reservation, no charge will be made to the credit card before arrival without the guest's prior approval.

• The hotel reserves the right to cancel a reservation if proof of the advance payment is not available within 72 hours of the reservation confirmation.

• In case of an early departure by the guest, 100% of the accommodation value will be charged.

• For refundable reservations, the following conditions apply:

  • Low Season: Free cancellation up to 15 days prior to arrival. After this period, no refund will be issued.

  • High Season: Free cancellation up to 30 days prior to arrival. After this period, no refund will be issued.

• The refund of reservations will be subject to the deduction of administrative expenses and bank commissions.

• In case of a "No Show" (guest non-presentation), the total value of the accommodation plus VAT (when applicable) will be charged.

GENERAL POLICIES

• Our hotel, located in a mountainous environment away from the village, offers a full board plan which includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner. To maintain the quality of our service, external food or beverages are not permitted, and access to the kitchen is restricted exclusively to hotel staff. Please contact us in advance for any dietary requirements or food allergies.

• Required Identification Documents: Upon check-in, it is essential to present a valid identification document. This includes a passport for foreigners, cédula de ciudadanía (national ID) for nationals, tarjeta de identidad (identity card) for children, and civil or birth registration for infants.

• Safety Deposit Box: Each room has a safety deposit box available at no cost. The guest is responsible for the objects stored there and must create a password for its use. The hotel is not responsible for objects not deposited therein.

• Pets are accepted for an additional cost of $45,000 COP per night. It is the guest's responsibility to supervise their pets in the public and transit areas of the hotel, using necessary safety accessories (muzzle, collar, leash, etc.) according to the nature of the pet. Reservations for pets must be managed through our hotel's reservation WhatsApp number: +57 350 642 8602.

• Smoking Area: Please note that smoking is not allowed in rooms or smoke-free areas. Non-compliance with this policy will incur a USD $100 charge, plus additional charges for damages in the room caused by this practice.

• To reach Finca El Diamante, a powerful 4x4 vehicle is needed because the road is unpaved and very steep. We offer free parking at Finca La Manchuria. Please contact us to avoid inconvenience.

Protection of Minors

• Finca La Manchuria S.A.S. ZOMAC adheres to Colombian laws that protect minors from all forms of sexual exploitation and violence originating from national or foreign tourists. Violations of this principle carry criminal and administrative sanctions provided for in Law 679 of August 2001.

Policies for Minors

• If both parents are traveling with children under 18, they must present the child's birth certificate and photo identification. If one parent, a relative, or a guardian is accompanying the child, a notarized consent from both parents must be presented.

• Children under 2 years old have no additional charge.

• Cots and extra beds are subject to the availability and capacity of the selected room. It is recommended to verify this beforehand when making the reservation.

• Babysitting service is available for an additional charge.

Guest Commitment

• The guest agrees not to bring, carry, or possess firearms and/or explosives within the hotel and restaurant facilities.

• Likewise, the guest declares that, throughout their stay, the use and administration of private and social spaces, including the reserved room, were carried out in accordance with the general conditions of contract and the lodging agreement.

• Similarly, the guest declares that the activities carried out in said spaces were lawful, releasing the establishment from all responsibility for any improper use.

• Specifically, the guest affirms that during their stay they did not carry out or facilitate:

  • The trade, production, or distribution of hallucinogenic or prohibited substances.

  • The possession, manufacture, or trade of firearms.

  • The production of digital, audiovisual, written, printed, photographic, or film content of a sexual nature, with or without commercial purposes.

  • The production or trade of digital, audiovisual, written, printed, photographic, or film content of a sexual nature, with or without commercial purposes, involving or intended for minors.

• The use of the establishment's facilities (private or social) for commercial, musical, acting, or advertising purposes implies that any false statement by the guest will annul confidentiality agreements and make them indebted to the establishment for a sum equivalent to ONE THOUSAND Current Legal Monthly Minimum Wages (1,000 S.M.L.M.V.) as of the date of said declarations.
